Formalin, UFC and binding resins’ production On the premises of OOO “Kronospan” the modern formalin, UFC and binding resins’ production plant is located the total capacity of which is as follows: Up to 20 000 tons binding resins a month;Up to 15 000 tons marketable formalin in concentration 54% or 5 400 tons UFC + 6 000 tons formalin a month;
Up to 3 330 tons impregnating resins a month.
The group of companies Kronospan has similar production in Lampertswalde (Germany), Chirk (Great Britain), Szczecinek (Poland), Ostrava (Czech Repbulic), Strazske (Slovakia), Sebes (Rumania) as well as 2 production plants in China which manufacture resins and impregnation compositions for wood processing industry. Binding resins are used in chipboard, MDF/HDF, laminated flooring and OSB production in the most modern factories worldwide. The main raw materials for resin production are methanol, carbamide and melamine. All quality tests in the production process are controlled by the automatic management system of technological procedures. It secures the full control over the process in completely automatic reactors at any time and the process can be corrected easily.

The formalin, UFC, binding resins’ production factory is able to offer wide range of solutions and possibilities for modification and development of products. They are based on practical tests and analytical methods by means of which the company defines exactly not only molecular ratio but also molecular structure and other peculiarities of products. At the factory resin formulas are directly developed in laboratory reactors what allows controlling reaction, analyses and parameters of the process.
